Foster Process:
- Fill out our foster application. We do need the application to be complete. So please make sure you list your vet, your landlord, and all info on any animals that already live with you; if those things are applicable.
- Once you have submitted your app, we will contact your vet and landlord. Please let your vet know we will be calling.
- We will then contact you to do a home visit. We just want to make sure the pup will have a safe environment to live in. Please don’t be offended by this – we just want to make sure our dogs will be safe.
- If you have dogs in your home already, we will require a meet and greet so we know the dogs will get along. Depending on the dogs, this may consist of a couple different steps.
- Once everything has been completed, we make arrangements to bring the dog to you. When you foster, we provide you with everything: bowls, collar, leash, crate, bedding, food, treats, toys, and anything else the dog may need. All of these things will need to be returned to us when you are no longer fostering so we can use it for another dog.
- You would need to be able to get the dog to any vet appointments or training sessions, if needed. We are always flexible when making the appointments. You also will want to bring the dog to any events that we have so we can get the pup’s face out there so he can find his forever home.
Adoption Process:

- Most dogs are already up to date on shots, spayed or neutered, and microchipped by this time. If not, an appointment will be made to have it done before the adoption is finalized. There are no exceptions to this.
